The beginnings…
I began my musical journey on the piano at 5 years old, which I thought was extremely beneficial for my overall growth as a musician.
However, a year later, my parents took me to hear a symphony orchestra for the first time, and I absolutely fell in love, which resulted in me picking up the violin at age 8, and then the viola at age 11.
In high school, I taught many private violin/viola students who succeeded in solo competitions. During that time, I also formed and coached a string quartet of talented junior high students where we rehearsed once a week. They also played together weekly after I graduated too!
Fast forward —> I graduated from Azusa Pacific University last year with a Bachelor’s degree in Viola Performance, where my passion for music strengthened and I felt the most in awe of how music could leave a long-lasting impact on the world around me.
