Ms. Ingrid
I started piano at the age of 6 and from a music class in Taiwan for students with excellent musical talents from age 11 until I graduated from high school.
After graduating from the Department of Music at Taipei National University of the Arts, I went to New York University (NYU) for a master's degree in piano performance.
Upon graduating, I worked as a piano teacher in various high schools and elementary schools music classes in Taipei, taught in the Department of Music of Taipei City University, and accumulated more than 20 years of experience in piano teaching.
Aside from teaching, l often served as a judge for school entrance examinations and piano competitions at all levels, so l also have a lot of experience in how students express their personal performance characteristics onstage.
Through my teaching method, I always hope students can keep exploring their love for music and find the most suitable way for them to practice, so they can have fun practicing the piano and get a sense of accomplishment as well as happiness in learning.
From the difficulties I encountered, I learned how to overcome difficulties, improve continuously, and finally become best friends with music!
I hope my teaching process can help accompany the students to face everything they may encounter in their journey, just as my previous teachers have taught me, which allows me to maintain my enthusiasm in teaching piano.
