For as long as I can remember, there has been music in my life.
My dad and grandma used to sing to me, and my mom would play the piano in our living room.
My parents even tell stories of me singing before I could talk.
I began piano lessons at age five and continued through college. This strong music technique and theory background provided me with a unique skill set I carry into my singing and teaching work.
From elementary school on, I was involved in musicals and choir, basically anything that could get me on stage.
My love of performing led me to pursue vocal performance at the professional level and find my calling as a singer and music educator.
