Ever since starting piano lessons when I was 4, music and piano played an essential part in my formative development years.

I was practicing my scales and reading music before I started elementary school. While other kids learned to identify famous people, I learned how to tell the difference between Baroque period music from Classical.

As I spent more time in music, I realized that music is more than just notes on a paper, it's a way to stimulate the mind and please the ears.

For me, using music is as natural of a way to express myself as is using the spoken language.

I believe that music is a universal language that all cultures around the world appreciates. It enriches people’s lives and provide surprise and delight for many.

I’ve also seen the power of music lessons and learning the piano on people who wish to learn lessons in discipline, teamwork, and problem solving -- all indispensable traits in developing leaders.

As someone who’s had a lifetime of teachers, both good and bad, I realized the importance of having a good teacher who can pass down practical lessons like learning how to read music, or good practice habits, but also a teacher who understands goals and motivations to learn. 

Outside of Piano

Outside of work, I really enjoy exploring the beautiful sights of Southern California such as the beaches and hills.

​I am also a big foodie that will eat anything from sushi to fried chicken waffle sandwiches.
