The beginnings…
I have always had a love for music, but didn't fully understand how important it was to me until high school. When I made it into high school choir, I realized how much I really enjoyed making music and sharing my love for it with others.
I had different choir directors over the four years of high school, but the one I had my last two years of high school had a big impact on me.
The way he taught really made me see that I wanted to become a music teacher and so I decided to pursue music education in college.
Fast forward to about 6 years later and I became the choir director at the same high school I attended. It was a full circle moment for me and shaped me in so many amazing ways. I worked there the last four years and got to see first hand how important music is to students and how it connects people.
I learned so much teaching there and made so many memories and relationships that I will treasure forever.

Why I Do What I Do

I have loved music and singing since I was little.
I started voice lessons when I was 12 years old and continued them through college. Music has been such a huge part of my life and has shaped who I am today. I am passionate about music because it has been such an important part of my life and fills me with so much happiness. I also love teaching music because I love sharing my passion with others. Watching students develop their own passion for music gives me so much joy. Credentials
