Hello, my name is Stephen Coss. I feel honored to be a part of FreshStart Music Studio.
Private music lessons hold a special place in my heart as my school program growing up did not have music. My parents worked hard to provide me with music lessons. As a result, the piano became my outlet for creative development and exposure to the wonderful world of music.
This, in turn, has created in me a passion for education and performance.
I graduated from the University of Pacific music program where I obtained a B.A. in Jazz Studies and an M.A. in Music Education, also receiving a California teaching credential.
With over 16 years of professional teaching experience both in private and public schools, I have dedicated myself to inspiring and nurturing the next generation of musicians. It brings me great joy to share my knowledge and love for music with students, and I am constantly seeking innovative and effective teaching methods to ensure their growth and development.
