The Entertainer...

As a child, I was always surrounded by music. I can remember going to Chuck E. Cheese for a birthday party and falling in love with the animatronic dogs that performed Beatles songs…known as the Beagles.

​It was then at the age of 5 that my parents bought me a drum set, a toy guitar and a Beatles cassette tape.  

After a week of making a lot of noise, my mom signed me up for piano lessons (good call mom!) and I was hooked!

In 2003, I earned a Bachelor’s of Music in Recording Technology from Lebanon Valley College. But that wasn't all I did (as if earning a degree wasn't enough already), I also studied Jazz Theory and Composition, Classical Performance and Music Production.

I loved to entertain and spent most of the next 10 years of my life performing at every chance I could.

Professional Musician

After college, I got my first official professional position as a musician. I joined the house band at the American Music Theater in Lancaster, PA playing keyboards, piano and organ for their original Broadway-style Revues.

And from then on, you couldn’t keep me off the stage and out of the spotlight.  

In 2008, I joined the Baltimore-based rock band The Bridge touring internationally and playing over 150 shows per year.  

After The Bridge disbanded in 2012, I formed my own jazz trio in which I play Hammond Organ. 

​As a performer and entertainer, I believe that sometimes the best rehearsal is a gig and I'm always encouraging my students to perform in front of any audience big or small...mom, dad, friends, grandparents....even the family pets!!!

Teaching the Next Generation

I have been teaching privately for almost 20 years and began my journey at the Lancaster School of Music in 2003.

​A few years later, I co-founded Musik Haus Studios in the Philadelphia area. For 13 years I taught piano, guitar and recording arts at the studio. 

As a teacher, I’ve always believed that music can and should be both fun and educational.  I strive to work with all of my students and their parents to ensure they receive the best musical education possible. 

​I want all of my students to sit down at the piano not because they have to, but because they want to and LOVE IT!
