Completed all Piano Pedagogy courses in addition to Performance degree requirements. 

Pedagogy courses included extensive study about the learner, teaching and practice strategies, proper repertoire selection, analysis of teaching materials and curriculum, comprehensive musicianship that encompasses technique, aural skills, sight reading, theory, and improvisation. All done with separate emphasis and consideration for the different needs of the beginning student, intermediate student, advanced student, and adult learners.

Completed degree with Cum Laude distinction. Also toured with the flagship vocal jazz group, Pacific Standard Time, which performed at the 52nd Monterey Jazz Festival after winning the Next Generation Jazz Festival for best collegiate vocal jazz ensemble in the United States. Completed numerous jazz courses on improvisation, vocal jazz technique, and jazz piano, in addition to Piano Performance degree requirements.
